Tuition discounts based on enrollment

Jala University’s tuition discounts are administered through the Sponsor’s Scholarship and Loan Program, which provides financial support to qualified students enrolled in Jala University’s educational programs. The scholarship program includes a volume-based tuition discount structure that adjusts according to the number of students sponsored by a single sponsor in each academic period.

How enrollment-based discounts work

Under this arrangement, the sponsor—not Jala University—funds and administers the scholarships, and may apply tuition discounts ranging from 19% to 55%, depending on the total number of students enrolled.

These discounts:

Are applied automatically based on overall enrollment volume

  • finger

Do not require a separate application

  • finger

The scholarship program

  • Full tuition coverage

  • No upfront payments

  • Funded by sponsors

All admitted students are offered a full tuition scholarship that covers the total cost of tuition and mandatory academic fees.

The scholarship program is supported by one or more sponsoring organizations, which fund the cost of tuition and allow students to pursue their degree without upfront tuition payments.

The scholarship accrues as tuition and academic costs are invoiced by the University. Full terms and conditions are governed by the official Scholarship Agreement, which is signed as part of the enrollment process.

  • Full tuition coverage

  • No upfront payments

  • Funded by sponsors

How the scholarship works

From the beginning of the program, tuition costs are covered through a scholarship funded by one or more sponsoring organizations.

Upon graduation, the sponsoring organization may optionally extend a work opportunity within ninety (90) days.

When repayment may apply

  • finger

Repayment obligations apply only in specific situations, primarily related to breach of the Scholarship Agreement or acts of bad faith.

Repayment does not apply in cases such as:

Each situation is reviewed individually, following due process.

How scholarship repayment is calculated

  • Time-based calculation

  • Based on discounted tuition

  • Defined in Scholarship Agreement

If a scholarship recipient does not fulfill the academic or service requirements defined in the Scholarship and Loan Agreement—such as program completion or post-graduation employment obligations—the scholarship amount may be converted into a loan. The amount to be converted will be calculated based on the portion of the academic term completed at the time of withdrawal. Only scholarship funds used for instruction actually delivered are eligible for conversion.

Tuition Discounts and Loan Amount: When applicable, any repayment obligation is based on the tuition actually accrued after institutional discounts have been applied. Discounts are applied per academic term based on total student enrollment and may reduce the total cost of attendance by up to approximately 55%. As a result, students may owe significantly less than the full published tuition depending on the discounts applied during their period of study.

Cancellation After Commencement of Classes: If a student requests enrollment cancellation after classes have begun, Application and Registration Fees are non-refundable. Tuition refunds follow the University’s published cancellation and refund policy and are calculated based on the week of cancellation relative to the module duration. Refunds will be issued to the Sponsor if payment was made on the student’s behalf.

Force Majeure: In cases of extraordinary circumstances—such as serious illness, natural disasters, or other unforeseeable events— the sponsor may, at its discretion, grant a deferral or forgiveness of repayment obligations, ensuring fair treatment for all recipients.

Further Details: The exact loan amount, repayment schedule, and conditions are detailed in the Scholarship and Loan Agreement, the Enrollment Agreement and the Student Catalog.

Practical Examples

Note:
The amounts shown below are illustrative examples and reflect the total tuition after applicable institutional discounts have been applied. Actual amounts may vary depending on enrollment size and individual circumstances.

If a student withdraws during the second year, the portion of the scholarship accrued up to that point may convert into a loan.

Illustrative example:

  • Total discounted tuition covered: approximately USD 20,800
  • Estimated accrued amount after two years: approximately USD 10,400

If the withdrawal is due to documented health issues or serious personal circumstances, repayment may not apply.

If a student completes the academic program and chooses not to accept a workopportunity (if one is extended within the 90-day period), the scholarship mayconvert into a loan.

Illustrative example:

  • Total discounted tuition covered: approximately USD 19,000–20,800
  • Estimated loan amount: equivalent to the total tuition covered

If a student completes the academic program and fulfills only part of the requiredwork service, the remaining portion of the scholarship may convert into a loan, calculated proportionally.

Illustrative example:

  • Total discounted tuition covered: approximately USD 20,800
  • One year of work service completed (out of four) •Estimated remaining loan amount: approximately USD 15,600

If a student completes the academic program and fulfills the full work servicerequirement, no repayment is required, and the scholarship is fully honored.

How withdrawal reasons are evaluated

Any withdrawal or non-compliance with scholarship terms is reviewed by Jala University, in accordance with the Scholarship Agreement. All the corresponding documentation is sent to the sponsor who will ultimately study the case with the student.

The University evaluates:

  • finger

    The circumstances surrounding the withdrawal

  • finger

Supporting documentation provided by the student

  • finger

The overall context of the case

Students are provided notice and the opportunity to be heard before any repayment obligation is confirmed.
